Crazy Keith Kellard Wins 2009 World Crazy Golf Championship

Word to my man Keith 'Doc' Kellard, who has romped home to first place with a massive five point victory over the field at the World Crazy Golf Championships in Hastings this weekend. For his efforts he takes home not only the the coveted WCGC trophy, but a cheque for a cool £1000 - quite a result considering he came 11th in this competition last year and only accumulated £24.38 in prize money during entire 2008 season. Dig miniaturegolfer.com for more details.

Congratulations Keith! I bloody hate (normal) golf. Boring, but I love being crazy!

£24.38...? lol....bless him! My kid used to make that on his paper round per week! But he's in the big league (or whatever golfing terms they use!) now! What a grand winner!

Quality. That's some stance he has too.

Have you read Tilting at Windmills by Andy Miller? It's a funny and fascinating look at one man's views on sport and in particular crazy (or rather, mini) golf.
