Most of my free time consists of daydreaming about what name to choose for my band, a Velvet Underground meets David Axelrod meets Ultramagnetic MCs meets Girls Aloud 20 piece rock orchestra in which I play drums, electric fender rhodes piano and rap like Big Daddy Kane, whose first 7" was produced by Kevin Shields, and exists only in my mind. It is of utmost importance when choosing a band name for an imaginary band that (a) it's monumentally cool, and (b) would look humongously cool on a t-shirt. My current fave imaginary band name and t-shirt design is 'The Miracle Wonderland Carnival Company', which is the name of the company that the Wizard claims he used to work for in The Wizard Of Oz:
"I'm an old Kansas man myself. Born and bred in the heart of the Western wilderness. Premiere Balloonist par excellence for the Miracle Wonderland Carnival Company until one day while performing spectacular feats of stratospheric skill, never before attempted by civilized man, an unfortunate phenomena occurred. The balloon failed to return to the fair."
I'd also like this logo to say 'Est. Kansas, 1939' beneath it in smaller lettering. That's right.
